Titus 1- Actions

“They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for doing anything good.” (Titus 1:16)

Do you know anyone who says they are a Christian but doesn’t really act like it? Their actions really affect their testimony. I sometimes catch myself wondering if they really mean it. When I catch myself I always feel bad because we all mess up sometimes. One example that comes to mind is saying something that wasn’t to nice to someone- talking before you think. We all slip- up sometimes.

Being a Christian is about more than just believing. It’s also about bringing others to Christ and doing what we are supposed to be doing. Our actions often speak louder than our words. Sometimes reading a Bible or praying in public will change someone’s life. It can plant a seed. If you can remember your life before you were a Christian what did you think when you saw someone reading a Bible, helping someone, or praying? I think these simple actions sometimes make all the difference. If we are going to talk the talk we got to walk the walk. Remember that.
